General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Some medicines for herpes can cause hair fall but it can be arrested after the medicine is stopped. I would suggest to exclude hair problems like skills n diseases, infections, infestations with a dermatologists consultation and get needful treatment along with high protein and vitamin supplements. Daily hair care, cleaning and combing is vital. Consult a dermatologist for the cause of alopecia and start with specific management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
