I have a new phone o me CPAP machine with a humidifier, after 10 days I find myself sneezing multiple times per hour and my nose ring s running. My pressure setting is 10. I have a nasal pillow which does not appear to leak and is comfortale in sleep. I am sleeping more soundly, just sneezing by day. What should ld I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you are sneezing adjust the pressure setting to 4 or 5 & slowly increase by 0.5 & set it at a point you are most comfortable. Sometimes, wrong pressure setting of CPAP mask may cause headache or cold. If you have a history of sinus or any type of ear infection avoid using CPAP machine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care. All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
