Suggest Treatment For Excessive Thirst In A Person With Renal Artery Stenosis
Hi I have renal artery stenosis and have terrible back pain and aching legs especially at the top . Although I m seeing a renal specialist I have concerns around how this can be resolved and as I m extremely thirsty all the time what would be the best thing to drink. Many thanks
Sometimes, fluid retention or hypervolemia and hyponatremia may cause excessive thirst. Renal artery angioplasty and stenting is the procedure of choice. Please get serum electrolytes and serum creatinine levels. Consult with your nephrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
