Suggest Treatment For Excessive Weight Gain During Pre-teen Years

My daughter is fully developed physically at 12 years old. She is physically active, and eats a normal amount of food. But she keeps gaining weight. She weighs 200 lbs. She has no other medical issues. What can cause this weight gain, even though she is exercising and eating sensibly?

Hi, i do care for your concern.
This the active age of growth and hormonal spurt, which will cause fat deposition in subcutaneous region.
As this is a normal phenomenon, however Increase in BMI of more than 25 is not good sign.
I would advise
To take food according to a caloric requirements, which you can consult with your dietician and get your menu.
Diet along with exercise will help you a lot.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
I find this answer helpful
