Suggest Treatment For Exhaustion And Joints Pain After Taking Lecithin

I am a 75 year old man taking 2400 mg of lecithin (non-soy sourced) a day. I am also on coumadin because of my prosthetic aortic valve implanted 24 years ago. I come from a family with high serum cholesterol levels and have been urged by numerous doctors to take statin drugs which I do not tolerate (general feeling of unwellness and sluginess after a few days on these drugs). So I began taking lecithin a few months ago. Recently, I have began experiencing an increased level of exhaustion after only moderate physical exertion as well as more severe joint pain (osteo-arthritic knee and ankle). Could there be a connection?

Hi,

Take rest for 1 week. Don't do any hard work for some days. Have muscle relaxants. Use a hot water bag.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dona Raj, Dentist
