Yes you have to consult the
general surgeon for proper treatment as examination as necessary before taking treatment.
Doctor will give you following advice:
Application of petroleum jelly or
zinc oxide, lidocaine, and a vasoconstrictor such as
epinephrine.
Local application of steroid (not more than 14 days).
Warm (but not hot) sitz baths a: sit in about 8 cm of warm water for 15 minutes, several times a day, especially after a bowel movement.
Take foods rich in
dietary fiber, intake of more oral fluids to maintain hydration, Avoid straining to pass stools, after passing a stool, use moist toilet paper or baby wipes to clean your bottom.
If not respond to drugs and increased in severity:
If symptoms persist, your doctor may suggest surgery like
sclerotherapy & Banding, Coagulation or cauterisation
