Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
No, taking medicines from other patients is very bad. Besides the obvious risk of fatal narcotic overdose, there is the likelihood that you will be discovered and tossed out of pain management forever. Alternatively, Methadone programs will see people who have gotten backed into a corner in pain issues. No judgment.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Yes you need painkillers and I would usually recommend you patient controlled analgesia intravenous. Step by step we need to treat you with different drugs until you have control over pain. So it's better you show to pain clinic where anaesthesiologist is giving treatment and especially specialized in pain management. I can treat you but distance limits treating intravenous. So kindly understand the constraints.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Archana
