Suggest Treatment For Extreme Dizziness And Vomiting

Hello- I had a metal filling replaced yesterday. It was a deep filling that involved a lot of drilling. I went to bed early, I woke ip about 11:00 pm. My head was extremely dizzy, I broke out in a sweat and I threw up. I drank some cold water and then I felt better like nothing happened. Very weird! I have never had this happen to me after a filling before?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Dizziness and Vomiting after replacement of a dental filling can be due to allergic reaction to the new filling material, although the frequency of allergies to dental materials is infrequent but cannot be neglected..
It can also be due to side effect of any medication if you are advised any after the filling as it was a deeper one..
It can also be unrelated to the filling and can be due to any reaction to any food or medication or can be due to any stomach infection..
In case if the symptoms have subsided, it is fine otherwise consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a clinical examination and investigations like Blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can take Ondensartn to reduce vomiting..
Take a soft diet and drink plenty of water and oral rehydration solution..
