Suggest Treatment For Extreme Elevation In ASO Levels With Breathing Problems
hi!! my mom is 40 and has a very high ASO ranging to 800. Along with it she has got breathing problem usually while walking and working...she suffers from leg swelling too with severe ache.. We went for many tests and there is no trace of asthma or any other problems. She suffers from cough when exposed to smoke or while cooking which was said as allergy by one of the Doctor. I want to know if all these are happening because of high ASO and if yes, then what should be done. right now she is taking homeopathic medicines with a strict diet avoiding protein stuffs..please leave a reply.. i will b looking forward to it. thank you
Probably she may be suffering from streptococcus infection lead to elevation of ASO. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625mg twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will take chest xray then treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
