Suggest Treatment For Extreme Fatigue, Ear Pain, Headache And Loss Of Appetite
For the past four days, I have had the following symptoms: extreme fatigue (awake for two hours, then need to sleep for at least four hours); dull, achy ear pain in left ear; dull, throbbing headache; loss of appetite. I have a doctor s appointment on Monday with a new physician (just moved into a new place). I ve tested positive for mononucleosis on four separate occasions (the last one several years ago) and the symptoms of the last four days are the same ones I ve had when I tested positive in the past. What would cause these flares and what tests should I ask my new doctor to run to get to the root cause of this?
Mono is confirmed by blood tests that may also include tests to exclude other possible causes of the symptoms, such as tests to rule out strep throat. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also recommend to rest and eat a healthy diet.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
