Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello... I am an out of state student at the University of Pittsburgh. I have noticed the last few times I moved back to Pittsburgh after an extended time away (Christmas, Easter, summer, etc.) that my nose gets really dry and a little bloody inside. It stays like that for about a week and eventually goes back to normal. It s obviously not a life threatening issue that I m super concerned about but it is very uncomfortable and annoying. Is there anything I can do to make it stop?? Also, do you know what may be causing it? My only guess is the change in elevation between Pittsburgh and where I live in Ohio.
