Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i m 30 years old . i was diagnosed with uvitis in my right eye and it caused glaucoma but now my other eye has developed floaters (actually one dot like floater) that is getting bigger and starting to form a tail ... i was afraid it might be uveitis as well but my doctor is certain that it s not and there is nothing to worry about , floaters are bothering me and i can t easily ignore them . what to do ?
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. Floaters are due to some opacities in the gel like substance present in the eye.. They move with the movements of the eye.. They are entirely harmless. In your case as your fellow eye got effected from uveitis, the same thing should be ruled out in this eye.. As you have already consulted the doctor and got reassured, don't worry.. Learn to ignore the floaters.. Hope I helped you with this information.. Take care.. Will be available for further queries.. Regards..
