Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Fast Heart Rate And Shortness Of Breath
I am expierencing shortness of breath when ever I exert myself. Walking short distance and when I get hot. My heart rate get very elevated and the I just can t seem to get my breath. I am very frustrated. I will add that I have had two stents place last year and was put on blood pressure melds and a blood thinner.
I think this shortness of breath when you exert yourself is a warning sign from your heart that it does not support this exert.
You need to be careful as long as you had 2 stents placed last year and are on blood pressure and blood thinner meds.
Please keep monitoring your blood pressure, and record the results as a reference. And have another cardiac check-up with your cardiologist to ensure everything is ok.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
