I am fatigued and lightheaded every day and my bp is still in the 150 s+ over 80 s. If I do anything other than sit, my bp goes sky high and my hearts beats very hard and am short of breath. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Of course, a neurologist is a specialist most suited to evaluate the cause of lightheadedness and brain fog.MRI/CT Brain can often be normal in lightheadedness because there are many causes of lightheadedness which are not related to any structural brain lesion.

Heart rhythm and function abnormalities would also lead to the insufficient blood supply to the brain and other organs so would also justify those symptoms.

Another possibility would be metabolic alterations, like diabetes, altered kidney or liver function, electrolyte abnormalities.

Hormonal causes like thyroid dysfunction or nutritional ones like vitamin B12 deficiencies must be considered as well.

If the symptoms have appeared only very recently it might be a simple transitory viral infection which is generally transitory and need only rest and hydration.

The list can go on for long, as I said those symptoms can be found in numerous conditions, only listed some of the most common ones.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
