Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Dizziness And Skin Dryness While On Percocet
In contrast, my question is if a person who had unstable angina, is prescribed the pain med Percocet along with florax to treat a kidney stone, and they were not able to stay hydrated being exposed to the extreme heat for over a long period of time, in which they experienced fatigue,dizziness, dryness of the skin, eyes, and lips, would you continue to have this person continue taking the medication along with their alpha blockers???

Noted your history about a person who has unstable angina, kept on Percocet and Florax for kidney stone, developing fatigue, dizziness, dryness of skin, eyes and lips.
Well, the first thing to do is to avoid exposure to high temperature.
Have plenty of oral fluids to have proper hydration.
Take electrolyte solution to avoid electrolyte imbalance.
Change over to another medication in place of alpha blocker and see if this helps. Alpha blockers can cause dryness of skin, mouth and eyes.
Percocet can also cause some of the symptoms and holding this for sometime can say whether this was the cause.
Proper cardiac evaluation in detail and to see if everything is fine or not and if yes the medications can be hold or changed over to a another ones not having the side effects as you have mentioned.
