My daughter has light sensitivity, fatigue, headaches, nausea, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety and irritability. This isn t teen angst. She is nearly 20 and there has been a marked behavioral change. She suffered 4 concussions over 4 years from the summer before her freshman year through the summer after her senior year. Our family physician is taking a cautious approach, but has said post-concussion syndrome is still possible even nearly a year after her most recent concussion. She has suffered these symptoms for over 2 years now, and we are worried about further delaying potential treatments and potential long-term damage. The first concussion was severe, the others were minor. We are all, as a family, concerned about how best to treat this when it is such an elusive diagnosis and condition.
