Suggest Treatment For Fatigue When Diagnosed With RA
Hi, I am 50 and was diagnosed with RA (RF and CCP pos) last year but believe I have had the disease for several years. I have no radiological damage and after 6 months of triple therapy wastried on Humira for 3 months and now Enbrel for the past 7 weeks. Both drugs worked well for a while and overall I feel there is only low level activity but I have had 2 short courses of low dose steroids. Over the last 3-4 weeks I have been having an increasingly severe local reaction with the Enbrel and 1-2 days of fatigue. It also does not seem to last more than 2-3 days and by the time my weekly 50 mg dose is due, I am quite miserable. I would like to know if a local reaction is associated with a decrease in efficacy and what I shoul do
it seems that there is secondary resistance or failure of enbrel, so the options are to stop enbrel and maybe change over to a different biologic, like actemra or ristova.
