Hello,

A damaged verve can cause muscle fibers to contract, tendonitis or muscle strain can cause such symptoms. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist. Get Nerve conduction tests done. Do stretch exercises. Take Baclofen, a muscle relaxant or Tizanidine to get relieve. Nerve blockers & sedatives are effective. Regular exercises, massage & physical therapy are recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
