Suggest Treatment For Fever And Body Chills Due To An Infected Cyst
I m not sure if I have a boil or a cyst. It s on my left breast more on my chest then breast I guess, about 4 or 5 days ago it flared up and is causing me alot of pain, it s about the size of a silver dollar and raised up about 1/2 inch very red in the middle and light red up to about 3 inches around it. I am sick to my stomach off and on running a light fever 100.6 I get the chills real bad also it was draining a very small amount at first but hasn t drained at all for 2 days now. I can t get in to see my Dr. until Tuesday the 3rd. of Jan. is there anything I can do to get some relief until then?
hello, in this case take a pain killer medication as of now. please avoid the pain killer which would have caused an allergic reaction to you in the past. apply local hot presses over the are using clean cotton piece or clean gauge piece. try not to squeeze the boil as it can lead to local cellulitis. you need to take an antibiotic for the same, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid or dicloxacillin would work well. and if you are diabetic then please try to control your bolld sugar levels because that is one of the most common reasons for the recurring infections like boils.
