Suggest Treatment For Fever And Burning Sensation In Knees

Hello I fear I had been infected with hiv 6 years back.I had unprotected oral sex.immediately after unprotected sex I had direah like symptoms for almost 4 months.I also had fever for few days at that time.now after 6 years my knees are having a burning sensation for the last 2 and a half month.I did tri dot rapid test and was found negative.pls help me in this regard if my results are ok.

Hi,

Better to get done Elisa test for HIV. Elisa test is more specific for HIV. If Elisa test is negative then no need to worry for HIV infection, you are not infected with HIV.

Regarding your burning sensations in knee joint, consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and X-ray of affected knee joint to identify cause.
