Suggest Treatment For Fever And Chills When Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer

My husband has been diagnosed with pantriactic cancer surgery in near future His temperature is 99.5 and he has extreme chills He has a heating pad, hot water bottle and 3 cover on him He is slowly getting better Should we be overly concerned Should we be con-corned Doctor apt the 13th of Dec Thank you

It may be or may not related to pancreatic cancer and you need to visit doctor if you ask me since in his case,a sepsis may occur more easily then in other healthy people It may be any infection in body, from the flu to serious blood poisoning. YOu shoul give him paracetamol and Vitamin C and enough fluids. But it would be good to do at least basic blood tests and hemoculture. This will reveal possible causes of his condition.
