Hi,
Let me brief a little about fever and chills. It is a physical response of our body in response to an external source of infection. Fever with chills is usually seen in the following cases:
1. Parasitic infections.
2.
Urinary tract infection.
3. Some bacterial infection.
4. Viral infections.
First of all, I would like to know about the blood vomit that you experienced. Whether you had an episode of a cough before vomit? In that case, it could be a
sore throat or a
streptococcal infection that would have eventually lead to
throat congestion and ultimately causing minor blood vessels under pressure to break and thus making visible drops of blood in vomit or sputum.
As a remedy, I would suggest you to:
- Do hot water fomentation also called rapid sponging to lower the body temperature immediately
- Take an antipyretic like
Paracetamol only then it would be effective.
- Visit a doctor for blood tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
