Suggest Treatment For Fever And Cough
hello, I had a virus for a week, saw my Doctor. Had a temp for 4 to5 days. two days after fever broke, I coughed up some blood. Headed to my Doctors that morning, he did not seem to be overly concerned. He said it could be a irritation for the virus. over the past 2 days it is getting less. Still a bit unnerving. Thank you

Uppper respiratory tract infection by influenza virus also possible. Your further work up should be done in form of chest X-ray, throat swab and CBC. You can be put on five days antibiotic course as well. I suggest you visit nearby pulmonologist for physical examination and further work up.
