Suggest Treatment For Fever And Diarrhea While On Enterogermina
my daughter is 7 and half years old weight 30 kg.she is suffering fever from last two day.Now she has no fever but today she got loose motion for 4 times.Doctor suggest enterogermina for 5 days,two dose per day....we gave neopeptine and ors.. how much time to take cure...or any other medicine I will give...please suggest....thank you

Hello,
Most of the childhood diarrhoea are viral and usually subsides within 3 to 5 days. It is good that you are giving her ORS, which is the mainstay to keep her hydrated. Continue ORS and entergermina.
Along with these, I suggest another drug for my patients. You can give her Racecadotril 30 sachet, 3 sachets per day mixed with water, for 3 days maximum. You may look for it in your area.
