Suggest Treatment For Fever And Persistent Headaches

My fiancé had a headache last night. When we got home from work and went to bed, we woke up with a pounding headache and a fever. He broke the fever and went back to sleep. He just now got up still having a mild headache with generalized weakness. He said his shoulders and upper back were stiff. When he laid down and flexed his hips, he had shooting pain through his head. I was thinking it could be some form of meningitis. What should we do?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the headache with fever then it could be due to viral infection and you have to wait for few days says 4 to five days during this time period it can be managed with Tab Acetaminophen with Ibuprofen as per needed, if it is the bacterial infection then it need to be confirmed for that routine blood test is must, and may need anti-biotic if found the same hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
