Suggest Treatment For Fever And Sore Throat

Hi. I ve had muscle pains for about two week, been taking tylenol for it. This week, I ve had a sore throat that tested negative for strep. My sore throat is almost gone, but now I have a 100F-104F fever, chills, nightsweats, nausea. I ve had colds before, but never of this magnitude. I really really feel sick.

Hello!

As you mentioned self treatment with Tylenol (Acetaminophen- an anti-fever drug) no use of antibiotics and other! First I recommend you to stop self treatment. Your sore throat needs proper treatment with antibiotics, anti fever agents. Get your doctor and get all necessary investigations done before starting treatment. I pray for your speedy recovery.

Well come to HCM
The given history is suggestive of some infection of throat and in my opinion this need to be treated with, Tab Azithromycin 500 mg once in day for three days, and rest of the symptoms can be treated symptomatically, take care.
