Suggest Treatment For Fever And Swelling Behind Ear In Kid
My 4 year old daughter had a swelling behind the ear along with fever. She was treated with antibiotics and swelling has gone and the fever subsided. But then she started complaining of pain in her knee and chest. Not sure of what the problem is and its remedey.
Noted the history about your 4 year old daughter who recovered from swelling behind ear and fever with antibiotic but is now suffering from pain in knee and chest. It is rare to have such symptoms in a child of 4. Hence needs to find the cause by the following ways: Consult a Pediatrician and insist for proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations. Tests of blood for culture and sensitivity, ASO tire, typhoid and as would be advised. Second opinion of an Orthopedic Surgeon, Cardiologist as the post viral or bacterial infection one can develop the symptoms as mentioned and may need a long term treatment if this is thought to be a rheumatic process.
