Hello,
Yeast infections when left untreated can cause rash, blisters or sores. She can apply anti fungal creams like
Clotrimazole and take a course of oral anti-fungals (
fluconazole) if the topical ointment are slow to work.
Your daughter is suggested to maintain genital hygiene at all cost. She should take regluar shower & change clothes, wear loose fitting cotton clothes.
If sexually active with multile partners she is suggested to get a repeat STD test done to stay on the safer side. If reports come positive, no worries, she'll be treated with antivirals / antibiotics.
For the other symptoms like fever, body ache, etc. let her get clinically examined by a GP & do CBC,
Urinalysis,
Widal test done. Her treatment will depend on her clinical condition & the reports obtained.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
