Suggest Treatment For Fever, Diarrhea, Sore Throat And Stomach Pain In Children
my 3 y/o granddaughter has high bilirubin low cbc rbc hct hgb. has been vomiting lost 2 lbs (42 in now 30lb)will be giving a stool and urine today .in the last 6wks she has had a fever for 3day nos then diarrhea after that for 3 days then vomiting and no food for 1 day. She is now starting to eat again she looks pale but she is still full of energy. Has been exposed to mono, and during this whole time she has c/o sore throat and stomach pain . This child also has a gag reflex from hell,I am at a loss.
The child needs pediatric opinion, you need to see him regularly [need routine blood tests and stool and urine examination]. Proper fluid replacement and electrolyte replacement needed. Maintain adequate diet and nutrition [crushed fruits, steamed crushed vegetables, soups, healthy diet]. Give clean boiled drinking water, just play with her. I will suggest to take her to the pediatric ward.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
