Suggest Treatment For Fever, Headache And Lower Back Pain
My 8 year old has a fever 37.9 and says he has a headache and lower back pain, he said the headache went away then when he lied down he said it came back to him, he also vomited a little water once only, he said he tasted oil in his mouth that s why he threw up, now he is asleep, he had ribs for lunch..

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever, headache and lower back pain. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query musculoskeletal pain , strain or sprain of the muscles, tendons , viral upper respiratory infection such as a cold or flu and symptoms of the flu. Need not to worry. Apply warm compresses on back . I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test , viral culture test and check vital look for infection. Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist or orthopedic surgeon. Doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir along with analgesic and antipyretic . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and drink warm glass of water with one spoon of honey in it.
