Suggest Treatment For Fever, Headache And Swollen Eyelids
Apparantly i have some type of viral infection. I have had a fever every morning for the past 5 days. And i have had very bad headaches. Also my glands and my eyelids are very swollen. I have been taking tylenol and nyquil, and i have been eating normally and drinking lots of water . How do i get rid of this virus ?!
HI Well come to HCM If this is viral infection indeed then you need to be patience for at least one week, if symptoms persist even after a week, then this need to be investigated and the option would be complete blood count, but this is nothing to worry, every thing would be fine soon, take care, ( Comment:- Even after finishing the course of viral fever symptoms may persist few more days, this could be sequelea )
Viral infections can take 1 to 2 weeks to resolve, in some cases it may take longer, it would depend on the virus involved.
IN addition to eating well and drinking fluids, it is also important to make sure that you have enough rest to allow your body to heal.
You may have to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment since it is not clear from the symptoms mentioned, which type of infection you may have.
I hope this helps
