Suggest Treatment For Fever In A 18 Months Old Child
Hello, I have a 18 month old that started being really irritable last night and chewing on her blanket. Today, she is sticking her tongue out constantly and it looks swollen and she has had a fever of 101.7. Is this common with teething or could it be something else?

Though teething can cause irritability and fever, fever over 101 is a bit higher than expected. This could be a harmless viral illness in addition to teething.
