Suggest Treatment For Fever, Soreness In Throat And Neck Glands And Hives

On Sunday I started ot feeI have had fever, sore throat, sore neck glands and I also have hives. The hives started out as small pea sized, then they became solid hives. My doctor said the throat swab was negative for step, but put me on Z- Pack on Monday, on Tuesday since the hives were worse and du to unable to sleep so then I was prescribed medrol dose pack, I still have been unable to sleep, since Sat and I am exhusted, not making since and I have barley able to function, This morning, Wed, I woke up with my hives different, They are spotty and the hives on my nipple have turned them yellow. I don t know what to do about this,

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. I see that you have already taken Medrol to treat the hives and I suggest to continue this treatment. I also suggest using Hydrocortisone cream for local application. I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms. I recommend to rest, drink liquids and eat a healthy diet.
