Stomach pains , and watery green stools..I didn t eat anything for 24 hours and was going to the bathroom every 1 or 2 hours , plus laid in bed...I started to feel better ..still had watery stool but it turned brown ...I started to to physical work and started eating...Now it seems like it is back full force...There was weekness and I m pretty sure fever...Everything seemed to be getting better , but after going to work and eating again it is back..I m 54 and had a colonoscopy a little les than 3 years ago...is this just a virus or do you think it is more seriouse41
The symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection. I recommend to take electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte. I also recommend to use daily probiotics. As per the diet,I recommend to use a plain diet and drink small amount of liquids frequently.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
