Suggest Treatment For Fever With Coughing Up Phlegm

hello, i've been sick for like 3 days now.....i have a fever and my body temp ranges from 37.6 to 38.5.....and i cough producing Phlegm..........
what really scared me today...i was coughing and i spit put phlegm with red stains on it, so is that normal or is it serious??

I am sorry to hear that you are ill with a fever a productive cough which is blood streaked. This sounds like you have either bronchitis or pneumonia. I recommend that you seek medical attention. You will need to be on an antibiotic and supervised by a doctor. The blood in the sputum is seen frequently from trauma of severe cough.
