Suggest Treatment For Fever

Sir,my son is suffering from typhoid which is detected after blood test.child specialist prescribed medicine and I m giving him those.today is 5th day of typhoid.but his fever is coming back again after the medicine effect ended.he eats everything and I m caring him.when the fever will be ended fully.I m worried.does he will be admitted to hospital or he will be alright.plz help me.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

If fever is back after the medication is over but no diarrhea or blood with stools than very likely the child might be going through another infection and very likely a viral infection.

On the other hand, if you are concerned you might consider sending him back to the doctor to make sure he is completely healed from typhoid or not. They might need to do stool cultures and other stool tests in this case
