Suggest Treatment For Fever,body Pain And Increase In Appetite

I have had a fever and random pain for over a week and can not get it to stop coming back. I don't want to eat even though I know I should and sometimes feel hungry but still don't want to because it causes me to feel sick. Do you think I have a flue?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fever,body pain and increase in appetite . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like viral syndrome , mononucleosis , gastroenteritis , medication reaction or side-effect , sinusitis and depression . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor will take history and order blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may also order CT scan to rule out sinusitis . He/she will prescrine anti viral ( acyclovir ) or antibacterial ( amoxicillin ) depending upon the diagnosis along with anti pyretic and analgesic .
