Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my husband has recently developed fissures on his foreskin. He had dealt with a yeast infection, which we took care of with antifungal medication but the fissures remain. He is not a diabetic and has not had this problem before. He has taken the advice of using only warm water to keep it clean but unfortunately they seem to begin to clear up, but then return. If you can offer any other suggestions for treatment, we would be grateful.
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having secondary bacterial infection followed by yeast infection. He might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days. Apply triple action cream locally. Make a habit of cleaning smegma on glans by averting foreskin while taking bath. Keep local hygiene dry, clean. Ok and take care.
