Suggest Treatment For Flakey Rashes Around My Nose

I have a red, pimply, flakey rash around my nose. I've tried different lotions on it (Nivea, Aveeno) to no avail. I also just moved to Arizona so didn't know if it was the change in climate. Any suggestions on how I can take care of it. Looks like I've been blowing my nose for weeks!!! Thanks!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain red, pimply and flaky skin around the nose seems to be due to PERIORAL DERMATITIS..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if PERIORAL DERMATITIS is confirmed you will be advised to avoid all kind of skin cosmetics and also do not use any Steroid based ointment or lotion..
You will be advised to apply lotions or ointment containing Antibiotic Erythromycin, Metronidazole along with Retinoids like Adapelene and Azelic acid preparation..
You can be given a course of Oral Medication like Erythromycin, Doxycycline etc..
Limit sun exposure and apply a mild gel based sunscreen lotion..
Wash your face with plain water..
