Hi I had a Nissen Fundoplication well over 10 years ago - had it checked a cpl years ago and they said it was still intact but the last 2 weeks my stomach has been super sick, gassy and feeling like stuff is coming back up in my throat (acid reflux) sensations....and when I eat or drink it feels like it wants to come back up so i am eating less and currently only weigh 98 pounds. Just wondering what the signs and symptoms are if my nissen came undone?
1. Do not eat spicy food 2. Take medications without fail as prescribed by your doctor- rantac or omez or pantop tablets 3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8am, small snack at 11am, lunch at 1pm, small snack at 4pm and dinner at 8pm 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea 6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis 7. Do regular exercise. Atleast half an hour per day 8. Learn meditation techniques 9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
