Suggest Treatment For Floaters And Blurry Vision In Right Eye Post Injury

My nephew is a baseball player and about 1 month ago he took an 85mph fast ball directly yo his right eye. He winded up with a consusion as well. The eye doctor gave him eye drops due to increased pressure in the eye, that seemed to resolve with the medication. He now has floaters and blurry vison in that eye and was diagnosed with PVD, the doctor said there is nothing that can be done and he has to just live with it. He is 19 years old and this is affecting his baseball career. Is it truw that there is nithing that can be done.
