Suggest Treatment For Floating Rib Syndrome In A Female
I was diagnosed with floating rib syndrome when I was 13 years old. I am now 23 and it is still an on going (severely painful) problem that I ve learnt to deal with. However I am concerned that in the event that I become pregnant, it can cause some internal damage since with little force applied to my abdominal area the ribs move on their own. I was wondering if having my floating ribs surgically removed would solve this problem? Since most of the solutions that I have tried involve some type of physical therapy and are temporary.
it appears to be cervical rib . consult orthopedic surgeon for your problem he can examine and advise required management.it is not possible to cure by treatment , if there is problem then it may require surgery. till such time symptomatic treatment and physiotherapy may be done.
