Suggest Treatment For Flu, Bronchitis And Pneumonia During Pregnancy
Hi, I am 31 weeks pregnant and cane down with the flu last week. My local doctor put me on antibiotics (amoxycilan) due to my hostory with brinchitis and pneumonia. I have been on the antibiotics for 4 days now and am getting worse with crackling in my chest. Should ai go to hospital

If your symptoms are worsening, it may be best to be seen. You may need a mucolytic to break up the mucus in your chest so that it can be expelled. In some persons, the airways may react to the infection by closing slightly, this would cause increased coughing and both of these (the mucus and the closure) can be easily treated at the hospital ER. It is also possible that your doctor can reassess you and treat you outpatient.
