Suggest Treatment For Fluid Filled Blister On Ankle
I was bitten or stung (not sure by what) a wk ago on my ankle. The swelling has now gone but i still have a small clear (fluid filed) blister in the area. I read that you shouldn t pop it, but how then how does it go away - and when does it go away? I still have a little redness in the area, don t scratch it, and don t feel any other side effects. But this blister is a very unattractive ankle feature and I m unsure how/when to get rid of it.
What you need to do is you can apply a combination of Neomycin Polymyxin and Bacitracin cream on the spot three times a day and you can take over the counter medication tablet Cetirizine for three days and tablet Serratiopeptidase for 3 days. The infectious part will get healed. However, even on medication if it increases, kindly consult a general physician who will put you on systemic antibiotics.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
