Suggest Treatment For Fluid Filled Cysts On The Upper Eyelid
It s been 3 months that I have some fluid filled little hard cysts on my upper lid. I visited a opthologist this week and she prescribed me a warm compress before bed along with a ointment to be applied twice a day called optithrocin and a eye drop. She advised me to use this for 3 weeks and later if there is still fluid filled ball on my lid she would drain it out with a small insertion. I am afraid as I am not finding any difference in the cysts and would it lead to insertion... Is the insertion process painful and how soon can we expect a healing
Ophthalmologist advised in a correct manner. The cyst if persistent can become infected. Hence it needs to be removed and you will be prescribed antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
