I am suffering from Fluid Retention . I went to a doctor. he advised me to drink much water and to take regular physical exercise. I am following his advice for last 15 days and also taking drugs according to his advice. But till mow, I am not getting well. What can I do more, please advise me. My age:27 and I am a female.
If you are having fluid retention, then drinking more fluid would mean that you retain more fluid. Fluid restriction (decreasing fluid intake) is normally required for persons who have fluid retention. You may need to be reassessed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
