General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The follicles of the hair at the neck area may get infected due to rubbing of the clothes and patients may experience recurrent pimples in the area.
You can use some local compresses at the moment to help them heal better and sooner and also try to not press them (do not pop them) as these may send infection in the blood.
Pressing them also increases the number of pimples around.

You may need to wear cotton clothes and also that are not very tight especially at the level of the neck.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
