Suggest Treatment For Food Poisoning

I returned from Myanmar two weeks ago. I had a couple bouts of food poisoning while I was there. I feel better, for the most part, but within 20-30 minutes of a meal, I feel like I m going to projectile vomit. It s after every meal, every time. I never throw up, but the nausea lasts up to an hour.

Hello,

I will suggest you have a look at your sclera (jaundice). Too much nausea can be a sign of acute hepatitis.

You can go for liver function tests. Or if a simple food poisoning associated nausea will settle on its own over a period of a few days.

Just keep your self well hydrated, observe for fever, and take itopride in case nausea is severe or you vomit out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
