Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I get foot cramps on the top part of my feet majority of the time when I go to bed. I tried upping my potassium intake, stretching and cold/heat on them. Nothing is helping. It s at its worse when I sleep. I wake up and can t go back to bed cause of the cramps. Sometimes it cramps in my shins too. I use to pop my toes for many years and only do it once a week now compared to back when I was a teen doing it 5 to 7 times a day. I am leaning towards arthritis but I am a smoker and rarely drink. Been smoking since I was 15. I am 35 year old Native American female. I am not chunky in any way but father is diabetic. Breast cancer and thyroid cancer run in my family.

Suggest Treatment For Foot Cramps And Arthritis
Hello, I read carefully your query and understand your concern. The symptoms seem to be related to muscle cramps. They can be related to many medical conditions. I suggest using a muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also suggest using Magnesium supplements for muscle relaxation. Hope my answer was helpful.
