Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain When Diagnosed With Accessory Navicular Syndrome

I have accessory navicular syndrome in both feet but it s very bad on my left foot. The extra bone is nearing the size of my ankle bone? It s become very painful no matter the shoes. I m a stylist and I m on my feet all day in a salon with lots of stairs. I m exploring surgery but would like to avoid that as long as possible. Any thoughts for relief? I have high arches and arch support in any shoe or insole hurts so badly. I ve also been having mystery pain inside my left inner thigh. I m wondering if it s related to how I m compensating for the pain? I have a general check up at doc tomorrow. Thank you in advance for any advice.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As a first line management, analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for can be taken for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
